On May 22, 2026, Pépiite was featured in a segment broadcast on BFM Business, focusing on new forms of tourism and evolving travel habits. The feature highlighted our approach to unique accommodation, local tourism, and simpler, more natural and disconnected stays.
This visibility is a wonderful recognition of our project and confirms the growing interest in human-scale tourism models. It also helps raise awareness of our accommodation network and partnership model, which is based on working with landowners who wish to host Pépiite lodges and contribute to the development of more local and responsible tourism.

Le Chantier podcast - N°54
This podcast episode, recorded near Avignon, looks back at the construction of Marie’s tiny house, the first project in the Pépiite series. Gaëtan, the builder of the tiny house, joins the conversation to share the technical details and the ecological approach that guided the project.
This recording marks the beginning of the collaboration between Marie and Gaëtan, as well as the announcement of a series of projects to come as part of Pépiite. Hello Blogzine – November 14, 2023
Hello Blogzine published an article about Marie’s experience with her tiny house in Châteaurenard, even before Pépiite was created. In the article, she openly and thoroughly shares her approach to lightweight accommodation, from the choice of materials to space optimization, as well as the technical solutions implemented to make this type of home both functional and attractive for tourist rentals.
These reflections inspired, a few months later, the specifications that would go on to guide the Pépiite lodge series.

Ouest-France – October 17, 2023
Ouest-France published an article about Mas des Écoliers, the Provençal property where, in 2023, the tiny house that would become the first project in the Pépiite collection was conceived. In the feature, Marie describes a vision of lightweight accommodation that goes beyond the construction itself: harmonious integration into the garden, with particular attention paid to ecology, natural light, materials, and the guest experience.
Although Pépiite did not yet exist when the article was published, the ideas and choices shared by Marie already brought together several elements that would, a few months later, become the founding specifications for Pépiite: accommodation that respects its surroundings, designed to enhance the value of the sites and local partners, while offering guests a meaningful and immersive experience.

In the heart of Provence, near Avignon, Marie’s tiny house in Châteaurenard marks the starting point of the collaboration between Plume and Pépiite. This inaugural project, which became the foundational model for the Pépiite series, embodies an approach to lightweight accommodation focused on landscape integration, a minimalist ethos, and a keen attention to materials and light.
Designed as a cozy retreat for two, the tiny house combines craftsmanship with discreet technical solutions, such as a mechanized composting toilet and a photovoltaic system, to offer a degree of self-sufficiency while allowing the surrounding natural setting and Mediterranean garden to take center stage.
